The SAP blog "Integration issues in S/4HANA – TM breaks supply chain and how to fix it" has explained the issue and ramification of incorrect updates of a delivery material availability date in case of TM freight order updates.

Now, I have opened an improvement proposal with SAP Customer Connection program to have it rectified in standard. The proposal needs to collect certain number of votes to be considered by SAP.
