The SAP Development Team Leader will be responsible for the technical delivery of application changes in the SAP landscape. Working closely with application consultants and designers, the Development Leader will manage the team responsible for taking business requirements and returning efficient and maintainable coded solutions.
Job requirements:
proven ability to lead a team with strong programming background
experience of managing a software development team, including local, remote and third-party staff
experience in coordination of development efforts between functional and technical resources
significant experience in working in an FI / CO and SD / MM environment
development and delivery strategy experience
experience with SAP business systems integration design, development and delivery
exposure to SAP Netweaver components, especially CRM, SCM and MDM
exposure to SAP web development and eSOA environments
exposure to SAP integration with document management systems
knowledge of other middleware products, especially IBM Websphere
good communication and customer service
strong problem solving skills
ability to work with customers and interpret requirements
good practical understanding of ITIL or similar support processes
Responsibilities:
leadership for a team of development staff, comprising internal and external staff
delivering SAP objects as part of the project change requests and the release programme
delivering the solutions to the agreed quality, timeliness and cost
resolution of SAP incidents and problems (third-level support)
