Job description:
The SAP FICO Senior Managing Consultant (MC) is responsible for the successful delivery of Finance & Controlling (FICO) modules' deliverables on SAP Mid-Market engagements; including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. The MC assists clients and leads teams in the selection, implementation and support of SAP solutions which naturally include design, configuration, and testing. She/he will provide functional and business process expertise and provide hands-on leadership and direction to the project team, which generally consists of consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees. The MC participates in qualifying and pursuing client sales opportunities and may play a lead role in developing the solution, scope, estimates, and client proposal, as well as being heavily involved in business case development. Mid-Market industry experience preferred.

This position requires 50% travel. Candidates must be able to travel anywhere in the US.

Additional requirements and expectations: Excellent and demonstrable written and oral communication skills. Excellent and demonstrable client workshop facilitation skills. Thorough and detailed knowledge and experience in all aspects of accounting and finance within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. This includes, but is not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing, Management Reporting Leadership skills, including the ability to lead client design and validation workshops. Negotiation skills that demonstrate an ability to contain project scope, maintain the client’s focus and ensure clients take ownership of their project areas.

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in SAP FI and CO Modules with 4-5 FLC implementations completed
• At least 4 years experience in team leadership
• At least 3 years experience in working with Mid-Market clients
• At least 5 years experience in employment with a consulting firm
• At least 4 years experience in leading and managing a project team
• Readiness to travel up to 50%; travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends
• English: Fluent

Preffered:
• At least 5 years experience in team leadership
• Certified in SAP FI and SAP CO
